This is a masterpiece Chelsey, but I sense some unhealthy writing here, as if you are feeling a little beside yourself and unsure of your path...

I love all your writes, and this is no exception, I only wish it spoke of more upbeat circumstances.

The craftsmanship you used here is amazing...I love the wording you used and your emotion.

    Writing out of pure frustration
letting go of all the emotions
often leads to the best piece we have ever
    wrote
I have detected some kind of sadness
but isn't that what frustration is all
    about
great piece in my eye you have mastered

If venting your frustrations always composes a writing as interesting to read as this one, then I can only imagine what kind of outstandingly remarkable pieces of script you jot when in a state of joy and elation.

Oh wait... Ive read many of your other poems, so I do have an understanding. I am very very picky with who I add to my favorite authors and you are a beacon among them. Your poems are away tangible, understandable and just plain fulfilling to read. Thank you for another enjoyable moment comprised of the art that is... you.

Chelsey I really love this piece.

I love the title, it caught my attention. I wondered what it was that you were writing about that made you frustrated.

Now I like that there's a "her" in this piece but I wonder who this her is. I thought it could be one of two things, a person, someone who gets you frustrated or frustration itself - the idea that you are personifying the word frustration into a she.

I like how you laid out the part where you broke down the words to show us the way you write is how you would say it out aloud. Like you're talking and breathing slowly at the same time.

    I love this write!!!

    Awesome poem Chelsey.

  • Release those emotions!!
Very clever. Whether frustration or humour, this was a fantastic write.
I can relate, as I am sure many can. Trying to find the perfect word to fit in the puzzle can be frustrating and exhausting and all just to express what we are feeling!!
    Fantastic write!!

Fantastic poem Chelsey. You put out what some of us feel on paper. I like how you separated yourself from the poet inside you and yet combined them at the same time.

The part that I found interesting (and quite funny) was the part when you were talking about the breaths that you take because of your exasperation. Very good! :)

Also, since I am a newcomer, this is the first poem of yours that I have read. Now I am going to read more :) Thank you

First of i have to say that i like the title because as poets we all go through that and it feels frustrating.....

I love the mention of thesaurus. and dictionaries....i also like the fact that you incorporated. the word baffled in this, because thats what happens when you're trying to get emotions out....

this was a great piece.....even if it was frustrating to write, hopefully not...but nice piece.

This is a fun and twisty piece... I love the depth of a writer and the creativity lengths they go to ..to explain the need to write... this was really a dazzling poem...

Wow I love this!!! You've written about something I can really relate to, especially now because I haven't been inspired to write in a looong time! I love how you expressed this... and I love how you talked about how you have to look through a dictionary and thesaurus to write a poem... that is so true... and how you chose to write about you and the poet inside you as almost a different person taking over your body, and how you compared the two... that was really interesting!

    Great poem hon!! :)
