I like your parents love story.

I love your parents love story! But what I love more is your way of story telling. You are so gifted Hannah, and I always find myself lost in your words, you have a way of taking the reader with you in every line, every word. Feeling your emotions, its just amazing how you do it.

Awe....this was just lovely so...thank you for sharing it with us. Love will find a way in the end....I loved the part with the puppy stealing the socks....painted such a wonderful picture.

This is very long but I wasn't bored in the slightest it was much too sweet for that!

You have a couple of little typos (not many) so....have a little look over it when you have time....so nice...really enjoyed this read!

I have to admit although the circumstances are different, I relate to this story as my parents have been married many years and they too have a strong love story where they met as teens and made their marraige work. It is something to truly be proud of. It sets a good example to the world as well about what love is meant to me.

the way you told this story was so intense, I could feel it almost being narrated to me as I read it and it flowed onto the next part so flawlessly.

I like how you gave a short description of both characters just making it so easy to paint them in our minds as we read this.

As for the message of fate, I do believe this very much, I believe what is meant to be will be, we may not always understand it or agree with it at the time, but later in life we figure it out and understand more clearly.

This was a beautifully written poem and wonder if your parents have seen this? It is a nice dedication to them, especially to be written by their daughter.

Hannah, you have a rare and beautiful talent. This just made my heart leap to hear that fate is actually true - as it is clear from your parents' love story.

You have managed to combine the past and present seamlessly with this piece from being told the story to living the story. Though, I must ask, did your dad tell you he was specifically drinking diet coke, etc or was this a poet's ingenuity? haha

Your ability to tell a story never ceases to amaze me, and if you were ever to write a novel I would be one of the first to read it I think!! haha But your poetry always puts a smile on my face for its blissful simplicity and detailed description. You have a true talent for words, my friend.

The flow of this piece is flawless even though it doesn't appear that it would be so. The pace is appropriate to the piece and your word choice and arrangement is remarkable.

One minor error I noticed:
third stanza -
"not only was they" should be "not only were they"
