Lost in your eyes

by TheDarkCloudBehindthePoet   Feb 14, 2013

My words escaped me,
I forgot how to breathe,
Your beauty mirrored that of Athena,
Your eyes drowned me in Poseidon waters,
Breath-taking as you walk by,
Goosebumps arise from your stare,
Kissing the lips of a goddess,
Makes my heart skip a beat,
Gazing into your eyes I see the future,
Trials and tribulations, seeing your children grow,
Loving one another, even when we get old,
As I comeback to reality, still lost in your gaze,
I realize that this is our life,
Together lost forever in each others eyes.

Thank you! I wanted to paint a picture for my readers on how I see my woman and how her eyes hypnotize me (but in a good way) ;) Gratitude!
