Burn

by Lemon   May 25, 2013

Trash all your cities
Murder your people
Watch your country
BURN!
You spit your poison
Sit on your throne
Letting those who try to help you
BURN!
You're so pointless
So insignificant
I will enjoy watching you
BURN!

The poem is direct. The author is venting his/her frustration.

Though one need not tell/command/request the population to carry out destructive actions. As per progression, the symptoms indicate that the human race is bound to destroy itself at some point in the distant future. The structures will collapse under their own weight. Everything is in constant transition towards decay. The pieces fall where they must. It is inevitable.

    Very well written.

This piece narrates either to the 2nd party or to the subject itself, it show angers and at the same time being merry in the extent of event to the narrator. Short but direct to the point.

I could feel the anger pouring out in here and I think the shortness works better in poems of anger, it gets the exact message across, with a big impact.

This could be put into many situations, politics, violence, family life, terrorists, many many more.
