Spider Spider

by Biancas Veil   Sep 9, 2013

Spider spider
You scare me so
Dangling from above
Slowly you sway to and fro

Brodie Brodie
Come to my door
There is a spider there
Kill it I implore

No no
Don't be so afraid
I will take it outside
Death from fear is not a fair trade

* for my partner who is always telling me not to kill the spiders because they deserve to live too

I like this poem, describing a fear or passion always makes the best poems

I like the repetitive word at the begining, it adds emphasis. This paints a visual picture, swaying to and fro.
I love the use for the word implore. I like however you depend on this guy to help you conquer your fear.
I totally agree with the last line.

This all in all is a very cute poem ^^ my only Critique is that I think by adding a few more descriptive words would make this poem exceptional

I think this poem is really cute and funny. The second line of the first stanza has a little typo. Ou should be you. Thats the only flaw I see.

I think that a lot of people are scared of spiders so you are not so alone. But I like the simple writing in the first stanza You are scared but its great to write about. I love also how you give the spider a personality as they are human. I love the paranoid feeling they give you as they dangle from above. I love how in the second stanza your fear is starting to show and your emotions are all over the place. I loved the ending most though. You decide to save the spider and that is a wonderful feeling. Both personalities shine through. 5/5
