To See Eris Smile Again

by jose zepeda   Mar 19, 2014

Eris was walking along
The Banks
Of the river Styx
Finding, my gift for her
New seeds from the One tree
She always knows how to grow them
Inscribed and encoded
Invisible words
How can her Apples of Discord
Satiate the hunger
If the very Apples she grows
She inscribes
Encodes
With "Hunger!"
A starving world
And she, merely her purpose, to test
I would see her through
I would help her
To see her smile again
Let her grow One last Apple
Inscribed
And encoded
"Alkalurops"
And by this very Apple
Shall humanity be led to it's Salvation
Or it's Destruction

Just to see her smile again.
