Serenade

by Ridge   May 19, 2014

A solitary goddess high up Olympus, sings in peaceful indolence
Seems indifferent to our dull world, the night bows and the river lies, while she writes her serenade
Sing the refrain under the sunlight's feebly gleams
Wipes off the the shivering surface with her magic tricks
Her melody sweeps out the clouds, to calm down the showers of spring
