She was someone like me

by Mehak Ayaz   Jul 4, 2014

From a mere cell
The journey starts
Dwelling in that abdomen is among those beautiful arts

Nine month later the soul comes here
Leaving the mother's heaven is her greatest fear

She enters this world with her eyes full of tears
She is welcomed by all her dears

She is named by the one who calls her princess
He clears away all her distress

When she leaves for a school camp
Mama bids her goodbye with a kiss
She even tells her your love "we all will miss"

In her school life she has many friends
Who make her know about the daily new trends

Her brother becomes the one with whom she fights the most
And sometimes he scares her by becoming a ghost

Finally she enters her teenage
She wishes for life like that of a bird without a cage

OH GOD!!
she is 16 now
And dreams of something she calls love

Protect her please, her heart is full of innocence, love and joy
Don't let anyone to play with her like a toy

At the age of 21
She welcomes someone in her life
Who leaves and kills her dreams with a knife

No more heart breaks
No more isolated life
Because now she is someones beautiful wife

Even though she hasn't walked miles
But still she passed through the flaws by her strong smiles

And now she has another soul inside her,
Whose life will be soft like a fur

She is going to be the mother of a child
The one who will fight with humans of nature wild

The dreams of that old soul are going to live
With the beginning of the soul which is new

That old mere cell is now like a leaf about to fall
She along with her husband is waiting for the god's call

Her face wrinkled and hair grey
Lips murmuring "live a life without fray"
She persues her end with this pray
