    I am also interested in this poem because of the way you made it seem like those who are suffering from depression have a tortured soul. At least, I believe that you are using depression from the word "sorrow"; that is typically what comes up when I think of that word.

    "If only she had listened to her own heart
    before psychological stress took its toll"

    ^These two verses are really interesting to me, because of the way that you associated stress with the heart. I like how you made it sound like she could have stopped this from happening if she only listened...

    This poem is also interesting because of the way that you associate a mood disorder (assuming its depression) with sin. I have never thought of it that way, but it is plausible.
