Good Raindrops, Bad Teardrops:

by Scott Cole   Feb 8, 2015

Raindrops fall from cloudy skies
Teardrops fall from sadly eyes,
One from Heaven, one from Earth,
One for purpose, one for hurt.
But both are wet and unwanted,
That both in charge no longer wanted,
Both eyes and skies when they start dropping,
Usually there is no stopping,
Raindrops are good full of laughs smiles and thanking,
Teardrops are bad full of anger saddness and hating,
Yet they both are here to stay,
Not a day goes by its not that way.
Raindrops and teardrops do not get along,
For one comes from good and one from wrong,
One falls often and one often falls,
One for prosperity one not at all.
One is strong, free- spirit and good nature,
One is weak, broken-spirit and needs nuture,
But both are certain when they fall,
For both have reason a purpose in all.
Raindrops are sweeter and nicer to see,
Teardrops are bad feelings that need setting free,
Raindrops bring happiness,
Teardrops bring sadness.
Sometimes the two fall together,
One from whatever one from bad weather,
So Lord keep giving us raindrops,
And crying eyes please just stop.
