    Hello Kate,
    I hope this finds you well.
    This poem (to me) describes a passion wanting to be released. Passion with a directed purpose. It is sad though that with this 'fire' it remains on a leash. I hope you manage to free this passion - if only once!

      Hello Michael. I am very well thank you and you are too. You are correct, this fire is and always will be on a leash. But isn't it said that, often, the dream is better than the reality?

    It certainly isn't wrong to want a passion like this to meet its full potential, as it were!
