A Special Mother

by Crissy Taylor   Nov 6, 2016

Through the years she's held our hands,
She never failed to understand,
An if you ask why she'll say "that's what a mother is for."

Through the years she's always there,
With a special smile that says I care,
Her heart is full of love to share.
An if you ask her why she'll say "that's what a mother is for."

Through the years I have grown,
My love for her may not have shown,
But all the while she's always known.
An if you ask her why she'll say "that's what a mother is for."

Although a wish could never tell how much it
means each day to have a mom who's just like you,
so dear in everyway.

Maybe this can help show my love for you,
The love an caring too,
There's always special things you do or say
that make you that special someone.
