Holding Grudges

by Alex Penuelas   May 13, 2017

Holding a grudge
is like the
tug of the moon
on the tides of the earth,
ebbing and flowing with mood.

The tides transition
From peaceful seas
To crashing waves
In seemingly a
Blink of an eye.

The sun's hook
counteracting this earthly flow
Acts as merely a
light beam on the surface of the waves.

However,
Until you make forgiveness dominate your inner grudges
by letting go
of the status quo
of this earthly flow,
Can you truly see the light.

Woah. This is amazing. I like the flow of the words here, it gives off such powerful meaning in such short words and stanzas.
    Job well done
