I will Haunt You

by Maple Tree   Jul 2, 2017

Finished with ink stained hands
smearing elusions onto faces
of hypocritical humans.

I'm gutted and gourged.

I run into corners where
reality was never heard of
while ghosts tickle my spine
to let me know that my heart still beats.

I've twisted my nails like knives
so that I can haunt ever gang member,
drug dealer, woman abuser and rapist...

I want them to know the pain they eflict
on vulnerable eyes that cry themselves to sleep
at night.

I will become the shackles of burden
upon those who have hurt my child.....

because that's what mother's do!
