I'm not trying to be too dynamic
but I want to talk about thermodynamics
and a little something called a paradigm shift.
I'm not trying to play with your brain
or tell you that you're insane
but listen, that orange might just be
a result of thermodynamics
you see
when the heat and the pressure in that little seed
declare they've had enough of the seed paradigm
they want to see what more they can be
behind their little cages
something happens in that little white orange seed
now keep with here i'm not saying the orange is white
or maybe I should shift and say what if that is right?
Where did the orange get it's round shape
when the seed was a small round tear drop
did the seed cry as it cracked open and grew
did it know it would be a
voluptuous, orange, orange?
did the seed see a great need
to be freed
from it's society
that made it believe
you are too small to be anything great
no you see, the seed decided there's more
than outside the tree than just a birds claw
pecking at the earth I lay upon.
You see the seed he decided to test
the theory of thermodynamics
he realised if he shifted his paradigm enough
he would create
the right heat, the right amount of energy
to spread his shell, break his bonds
and open up his fleshy orange heart.
I don't know about you
but that's a tasty paradigm shift.
