    I read this through twice, to take in all what you have written, as I have an open mind, I cannot say whether UFO's are fact or fiction, so just a slight difference in opinion for me.
    You mention 'where do old souls go' I just wondered if you believe that there is a soul? as it would be against your non-belief of 'reincarnation' as this surely means 'souls - rebirth unto another body.
    Are 'old souls' different.
    But I do like this poem and enjoyed reading your perspective, just the question to clarify?

      Thank you Michael for your comment, Reincarnation is an interesting idea that I cannot get my head around the sheer enormity of the maths involved. But who knows, I am holding on to the belief that there is more to this life than to be born and die

    This is really thought provoking Patrick, I love that it raises so many questions

    And as you asked ... I'd say my soul is my thoughts and feelings and therefore is my brain ... which dies when my body does ... but ... my memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those that love me

    This is a great write and will no doubt elicit a different answer from every reader
