Just learnt what a syntuit is. 17 syllables exactly. Wow, to pose such a thought provoking piece with such preordained structure is amazing. 'Denies his self reliance' indicates to me that within each person a self reliant ability to survive exists.

A powerful and inspirational thought. I guess not only is survival instincts already within, but it always has been? Maybe this line of reasoning can explain the title. 'Cain' may refer refer to an ancient biblical figure? Or hebrew for a spear? And out of Eden may reference the beginning of our need to survive. Spear seems a plausible choice and may symbolise the tools we need to survive in the wild.

Perhaps more thought is required as the spear may refer to our ability to survive by killing...such as hunting. This could coincide with 'Cain' as a biblical reference for murderer?

In three lines of 17 syllables to pose an 'aha' moment to the reader - as you have with me....is indeed a talent. For what its worth from a beginner - to a seasoned poet - I praise you sir.

We think of Adam & Eve being cast out of Eden. However, Cain was the first to be born and survive out of Eden.
