I don''t know if I read this right, Larry, but here's my understanding.
The kind of people that we want heading our countries can never be leaders, simply because leaders are not 'normal' people. They tend often to be extrovert, arrogant, aggressive go-getters who certainly are not representative of the masses and tend to be ill-equipped to govern because of these traits, thus resulting in more childlike arguments and even war.
The normal or 'boring' politicians don't exist. They are the folks that lead good, quiet lives and would be perfect candidates but simply do not have the same egotistical drive to be 'successful' in a world full of the kinds of characters mentioned above.

    Anyway, take care, Larry.

Boring leaders do not cause strife and divisiveness nor enter into international intrigue or risk

There have been leaders in the past and there are still some now who have a narcissist personality. People still follow behind them. Such behavior is devastating to everything and everybody. The only ones that don't care is them. There is nothing wrong with trying to be a leader but this here is absolutely sickening. Thank you for sharing Larry and I have to agree with you . All the best.
