Whatever we are going through mentally or emotionally it does define who we are. You are who you are and I certainly enjoyed reading. All the best

I often look back at past poems, Jason, and wonder where it all stemmed from. I suppose without that 'mental debris' we sometimes struggle for inspiration but if this piece here is anything to go by, you don't struggle with that affliction just yet.

Jason, I doubt there's anyone on this site that can't relate to this poem. Sometimes when I read previous stuff I think ... "where on earth did that come from!", but also ... it's often journal-like. I love how you've expressed this familiar feeling here. Great! :-) x
