Hear us ROAR!

My body is a temple,
A shrine in tune with nature.
Gifted with a natural engine built into my body,
I can create and nurture or destroy life,
It is MY choice.
I am a woman.
I can be prideful, lustful and diabolical
But to, and for, so many I can be loving, heroic and angelic.
I am a woman.
Just as strong as I am soft,
Just as smart as I am bold.
I am a Rib, a partner, a QUEEN,
But also submissive, compliant, and slaved.
I Am A Woman!
I have been beaten, violated, and murdered
Into silence, shame and fear
But my voice can pass on a whisper or create an uproar against injustice.
I AM A WOMAN!
And with the switch of just two vowels
WE can destroy a legacy, dynasty or an empire.
We have never been stronger than when we show our weaknesses TOGETHER!
WE will fight for our daughters and their daughters
Until we don't have to fight anymore.
WE ARE WOMEN!

*Side note: These words have been repeating in my head for the last 3 weeks so I had to write it down. Most, if not all, of my poetry usually rhymes but I felt good finally getting these words and flow all together on the page. And the title definitely wouldn't leave my head haha.
