Wisdom is a process
That's can be hard to get
You can have knowledge
But life can beat you with a stick
Believe in God
And he'll show you the way
Believe in just books
And you might pay
Yes wisdom and knowledge
Goes hand in hand
But I'll tell you this
The same they don't both end
Wisdom is experience
And living it first
But knowledge is
Putting the books first
Like knowledge is knowing
A tomato is a fruit
But wisdom is knowing
That it gets the boot
When it comes to
Making a fruit salad
It doesn't belong
Like a misplaced ballad
So I'll ask you this
On what you go through
Are you using knowledge
Where wisdom is due?
Proverbs 2:6-7 read:
6 All wisdom comes from the Lord,
and so do common sense
and understanding.
7 God gives helpful advice
to everyone who obeys him
and protects all of those
who live as they should.
