Pretty and Perfect

by ashley   Jan 10, 2005

She's pretty and she's perfect,

Her life is really great,

She's above and beyond everyone,

Yet she's filled with so much hate...

Her long brown hair is cut just right,

Her eyes are wide with surprise,

She pastes on that fake smile each day,

Though she's filled with much despise...

So why pretend to be so fake,

When you were better off before?

There are so many reasons as to why,

But one of them is for sure...

She's afraid to let the real her out,

Afraid to let it show...

She's not as perfect as she seems,

She's scared to let them know...

If she'd just let it out,

If she was true and kind,

She might realize sometime,

That no one would mind...
