I Stand Alone

by Conner   Jan 30, 2005

It seems I stand alone
Bearing shame instead of pride
It’s much harder than you think
When no one’s standing at your side

You panic from time to time
And your heart has no steady pace
You feel lost and unwanted
And have no one to embrace

You find yourself cornered
In a small circular room
Some say that’s impossible
But they also just assume

No idea of the pain I endure
Along with others just like me
Not a clue in the world
Of how it feels to be lost at sea

It’s like a change overnight
That happens in a flash
One minute you’re on top
The next your just some trash

Unknown to many,
Alone in a cruel, cold place
A blip on the radar
Just a wasted amount of space

Justice, Peace, Equality
Words that for you don’t exist
So a prediction of your legacy
Is that you won’t be reminisced

The thought may bring most down
But to me it’s not a great surprise
So maybe you now have an idea
Why I’ve already said my goodbyes

PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!!!
THANKS!!!!
