I Want to Know Love

I want to know love
i want to feel love
not the family love
love of a man
a man who cares about me
the inside not the out
the personality not the look.
someone who loves me for me
someone not required to
someone who wants to.
love
its a strange thing
you always wish for it
yet most people when they have it
they let it go
me
i would hold it
hold on to it forever
for love is a very precious commodity
so very people have real love
its the most valuable thing on earth
and yet those of us who have it take it for granted
and those of us who see those people
wonder if they realize what a good thing they have
in most cases they don't
and i would give anything
mind, body, or soul
just to be loved by someone
