Bullied

by katie!   May 18, 2005

Stalk around behind someone who you think is vulnerable
Taunting, laughing, getting inside their head
No idea about the person, who they are, what they're like
Breaking into their personality make them wish to be dead

Picking away, like loose threads from their being
Working your way in, make them believe what you say
Destroying any parts of self image they liked
A different insult, just as hurtful each day

Follow them home, beating them into apology
Physchological is worse even than physical pain
As you shout and scream with all of your group
Searching for more ways to hurt them again

Abuser, you are the parent, meant to support them
But you put them down, making them feel ashamed
Hit over and over for no solid reason at all
Building them up, break them down this cruel game

Bullied until pushed over the edge in their mind
Slits their wrists collapsing where no one could see
A note left bloodstained and with only a few words
"Try living one day like this, just try being me"

I was bullied but the person who was insulting me was myself. somebody had hurt me so bad that I decided to take whatever they said and repeat it to myself when I did something wrong.

I did kind of get weirded off at the slit wrist thing. It did come together with the last line and all. This can be something everyone can relate to whether the abuser is a parent, a schoolmate, or even the person themselves.

You have quite a gift, really... I did cringe at the part "Slit their writst..." But the whole thing is excellent...very sad, but true...this touches all the people who have been bullied and possibly the bullies themselves...it's somewhat general, in a good way, so many can relate. I admire your organized control...I mean I'm more of a free style, your presentation is great... :)

    Thanks...
