Poem for Emily

by Megin   Oct 1, 2005

Hannah

She was only 14
and my best friend
I never could have thought
that this was going to be the end,

Friends is what we chose to be
but we were sisters at the heart
as if we were joined at the hip
we were never apart,

Going out to eat
to the movies and the mall
seeing each other at school
passing notes in the hall,

Our number one hobby
was checking out guys
seeing who looked good
or who was full of lies,

Leukemia was what did it
it took your life away
but no matter how far apart we are
my best friend you will stay,

All the laughs and tears
all the fun times we had too
will never be forgot
in loving memory of you!

(( there is a very sad story behind this about a girl whose friend was killed by the cancer Leukemia, so if you could comment it would really mean alot- thanks megin ))
