Looking Back

As i look down the empty road,
Memories flood my mind,
Of the times we left behind.
The times that made us laugh,
& The times that tears filled our eyes.
From the moment we said our goodbyes,
Something in the back of my head
Told me it would be the last,
And all we would have left, is the past.
