Somewhere away

by Mona   Feb 26, 2006

She hides
Until she decides
To go there
"There" might just be anywhere

Somewhere away
That's where she will stay
Anywhere away from here
But anywhere might as well be near

Just a place
Maybe an open space
Maybe a dark hole
As black as coal

Where will she stay?
Somewhere away
Where will she go?
No one will know

She will be found
If her feet hit the ground
You might find her there
And "there" might be just anywhere

Wow, this was so powerful, and I can't tell where the power came from. The whole thing was just amazing and my comments are becoming crappy because I'm running out of things to say, awesome poem, keep up the good work.

Might as well be a dark hole
    As black as coal

WOW. I love that line, it was so awesome, yet, the flow was a little off considering that the line "as black as coal" was a little short compared to might as well be a black hole

Maybe you could change it to "Maybe a black hole?"

I don't know, anyways, great write.
