Beauty Within(not slang)

Outside she may not look happy
But there is a beauty within her walls
It runs through her veins
It pumps through her heart
It makes her feel loved, not lost and alone
The precious secret she once held
Was the love in her heart
But that love escaped
It is you she needs to embrace
There is this pretty girl
Hiding behind the tears
This shining star waiting for her moment
She cowers behind blades, and grips at her sleeve
She needs to break free of depressions grasp
Lowering her knife, making her life whole

(this is a different poem to what I’d usually write)

    you can express your, lets say, 'no so upbeat' emotions in this most beautiful ways.
