Julie, this is a sweet poem and I bet your friend loves this. her dad sounds like a great man. this poem is one of your best and I arelly liked this stanza:

That a father is missing out
On his daughters future years
Living a tick at a time
Just wishing he was here

AWW! I know EXACTLY how you feel! My friends' dad died not too long ago too! =( It was horrible to attend the funeral...
