Fairytale Love...

by Megadrive   Dec 28, 2006

Do you believe in “True Love?”
A love that withstands any torture or sorrow.
Something that is true, in such a misleading place.
A thought in which keeps all hearts at such a deranged pace.

I believe in such a memory,
I believe in a Love once retained.
I can see something so taintless,
And I know love wouldn’t fail if it hadn’t turned into a game.

When the handsome prince laid down his effects,
Leaned over a body in a silky yellow dress.
Kissing the cold lips of the women he so cherished,
His touch warmed her heart, and she awoke with a smile that shall not perish.

Snow White, a tale of enduring devotion,
Where a young prince rescue’s a girl, from an evils witch’s deadly potion.
An innocent red apple, with a dreadful secret of despair,
The prince was the only one whom would not let her impair.

A Fairytale this maybe,
But who dare to say it isn’t a true tale of such a memory.
Devotion overcame the evil witch,
No matter the challenges, the prince fought for every inch.

Unlike a restless night, this beauty could not awaken,
Lying there as if dead, yet in a horrid incantation.
She waited for the kiss of her prince, whom was having difficulties,
Slaying a dragon whom did not want to be a causality.

Sleeping Beauty, no other love so flawless,
A destined prince, whom could not be less harmless.
One passionate kiss, to awaken his desired,
Yet he must defeat the dragon, and fight fire with fire.

A Fairytale is the only truth in this world,
The only real evidence that love once did not spoil.
Passion Was once truly great,
But we have tortured it, into something much less fake.

Torment lies deep within his soul,
Malaise fills his flesh; he was unable to gain control.
Beauty comes into his life and starts to sooth his gloom,
Letting his battle of anguish, finally end him of being consumed.

Beauty and the Beast, a passion of diversity,
Harmony inside an eclipse, yet it will last eternally.
A love earned, not bargained for,
Tis’ the greatest love of all, and the closest to thy core.

A path led from twilight, but emerged beautifully radiant,
Perfect in every aspect, yet no one seems to cradle it.
Feelings overpowering of passion and adoring,
The only truth that keeps your heart in a constant soaring.
