You're gone

by JC   Mar 9, 2007

Every where i look I'm reminded,
of what we had and what we left behind.
Every day I'm a wreck, I go around cursing life by saying what the heck?

I see you there, and you're with him.
The thought of this makes me grim.
People say that this will take time,
but i just want you to be mine.

You say he's great, wonderful and good,
but what was I? Just a piece of food?
Something to munch on while you find your love,
a snack or appetizer, something that wasn't quite right?

I hope i was tasty as you ate me so,
chewed me up good, and let me go.
Leave me be, and you will see,
that you'll never find another guy like me...
