We all will miss you Virginia Tech

by Erika   Apr 19, 2007

A normal day or so it seemed
is where this play of ours sets scene.
As the bullets flew
America suddenly knew
that foreigners are not the only terrorists
but sometimes it seems we are what is
the pain which causes so many this grief
as our angers build up so we let off heat.
Hardly breathing we sit and listen
our tear filled eyes, they blink and glisten.
Dead.
All of those innocent lives taken away so fast
and this sorrow for some will always last.
For me, i had no personal relationship
and when I'm older this mass shooting will just be a blip
in my life full of tragedies like all of the rest
but a sorrowful life it is, so i will contest,
that although it may not be you that is wounded today
the families they need you to open up and say
that you care what happened and that you understand
although it wasn't you, your mind is still plagued.
So send the victims your love in all the odd ways
because your kindness will live with them all their days.

PLEASE: remember these victims in your prayers because they need you and their families are grief stricken. God bless you all... and please send comments about your thoughts and feelings about the shootings at Virginia Tech... i would love to hear
