Mans Ignorance to Gods Grace

by Gabby   Apr 19, 2007

So unlike a needy child, with their happy and guiltless comportment
We deceive and lie with passion, like its the trait of our deportment
We accept the troubled way of life, yet we reject our Holy offer
For we cannot agree there is pure love, so we block out the greatest proffer
Of love and mercy that was already given, before we even requested
Of truth and honesty that was already taught, before we even gestured
How long must it take, to convince a person
How long must it take to convince the world?
How long until this generation, finds itself confused and curled?
Who, besides our graceful Lord, can change our way of thinking?
Who, on the earth God made for us, can hold us from this sinking?
Problems and sorrow come our way, yet we use our backs to take it
Most refuse to ask Gods help, but only He can help you forsake it
Only those who seek his mercy, can truly live in splendour
With our bad ways left behind us, and the sins we must surrender.
