Slowly closing eyes
Less and less is heard or seen
Exchanging kisses and Goodnights, While thoughts
Exchange to dreams
Passing through the stages of the sleep cycle
In a dark World, youll soon be asleep
Numbness consuming your body, And with such
Ease, away your consciousness creeps
Struggling to stay awake, a battle that
Soon, the sleepiness will win.
