The Game (concrete poem written in 2006)

by Lyric   Jun 14, 2007

I thought I knew the game
Even after I drove Coach Lewton insane.
One day I hit Coach Lewton with a ball,
The ball was so powerful that it made him fall.
Coach Lewton never did forgive
The day I broke his spirit to live
I went on to the
Softball Hall of Fame
But Coach Lewton
Stopped playing
The game.

This piece has humour and joy in it. Except there were very few forced rhymes its really good. Honestly 4/5
