Games

I look at you,
And you look at me.
We're both to shy to say a word,
About what everyone else can see.

Why is it always so obvious,
To those who aren't involved.
And everyone always know just what to do,
We keep getting told.

We try to hide our feelings,
Deep down inside.
Cause what they don't know,
Means we don't have to lie.

How long until we stop these games?
These silly little games of hide and sneak,
And peek-a-boo, and just try to catch me.

We aren't 5 years old anymore,
Even when we pretend to be.
Pulling a girl's hair still means you like her,
And then there's always them games of kiss chasey we used to play.

So do you pull my hair to tell me you care,
Or do we continue to act like the other isn't there?

Do we listen to what they all keep saying,
Or do we continue to say we are just friends?

Do we stop these games,
Or continue playing?
