I can't say what life was like for you
before I entered your heart
but it wasn't bright as it now
why did time have to keep us apart
told me how happy you were
are at least thats what you thought
but love has changed your way of thinking
and life is different from the way you were taught
it's more fuller with so much to give
realized that birds sing lovely songs
flowers make beautiful blooms
now you have a better reason to live
your days are filled with gentle hugs
loving thoughts and sweet kisses
pretty red rose first thing in the mornings
soft whispers of I love yous in your ear
thats the part you that's been missing
two loving arms to hold you each day when you awake
quiet days of sitting and reminiscing about our past
days are filled with happiness and times that made us laugh
hours at a time that we shared together
because a love like our is a one of a kind
that is what makes it so hard to find
peaceful moments with so much love
