A child's story

by Michelle Hickman   Nov 23, 2007

My heart once torn asunder,
But now inspirited by another.
Now given hope of contentment,
With ones own true kindness
and appreciantment.

Thank you Wil for all you have given me, this is for you my dear friend!

A fallen child is left in the darkness. She has a warm heart but cold hands. She sees another in the distance who also has fallen and been left in darkness. There's a radiant light which emanates from his heart. She gets up and runs toward him. At the same time, he sees the light emanating from her heart, and also runs toward her. As they run toward each other, the darkness is less apparent. The sky turns from a deep royal blue, to a lighter shade of pale just as their hands touch, and become warmed by each other hearts, and as they look up into the beautiful open sky, it seems that life is at harmony with all. They both look to see where they are...still lost, but at the same time...found.
