Once

by Tony Grever   Feb 6, 2008

Darkness fluttered into the room,
Sweet kisses soft touches we did resume

Walking softly as not to ruin the moment,
My heart was thunder my world was silent

The world was ours just you and me,
We were so sure nothing we couldn't see

Then lying there on that bed,
Once more those thoughts ran through my head

Those thoughts always here and their,
Only thoughts with more despair

No more did we need to impress,
Our would was now, no more stress

Only if time could be held in your hand,
I would hope it never slipped through my fingers like sand.

But time is fragile as we all know, at least I do,
Its also priceless and all the money in the world,
wouldn't make me want to spent it with anyone but, you!!
