When you are in love, every word they say you want to believe because you trust them with all of your heart. People say things and it's difficult not to believe them. The pain of hurt is still lingering inside of you because it is fresh and even if you try to pretend it is not there, it is and over time is can become worse. You wanted to pretend that you walked away, which you probably did but in reality you wanted them to stay, but you seemed to push them away even when you did not mean to. Through your eyes there is a lot if pain and heartache. This is a well written poem, for you show the reader your true feelings inside. 5/5
