Nominated right off the bat, OM freaking G!

This is a sad but beautiful write Little Thistle, I really like how you broke this piece up with the double lines, it's really effective in make the reader fully absorb what you're saying.

    Fabulous as always :)

"No one could see the secret wishes of suicide she made upon every shooting star"
What a wonderful way to twist something that is usually a positive/happy thought "to wish upon a star" or something similar. But the wish for suicide upon a star is a very effective change and draws the reader in.

I agree with both Ben's here. This is stunning and I also nominated right away because this is really good hon. No one truly knows the pain someone goes through. and this is the same here, as I always say, memories are always good or bad and you are showcasing the bad memories that you are going through. They never really seem to go away and they always seem to out weigh the good. I actually love the shooting star line as well, because here you bring a little bit of hope to the poem. YET that hope is for the pain to end and it turns into this sad/dark wish. The ending is great as well, because in the end all we wish is to find our home and place in this world even if it is through death. 5/5
