Are we really..."sick?"

by Courtney   Jun 27, 2016

I'm stuck,
Stuck in a rut of forever entanglement.
But wait a minute?
Is it stuck if I want to be here?
Because here is all I know surrounded by death and fear.
I can't let go in the society that's raping thoughts,
It's always free and it's always caught.
I'm force feed medicine because I don't speak the same as them,
I won't feed the machine my soul like they.
That's how the world lives.
It sucks our souls when we follow it.
And those who are different have medicine to make them conform,
To become our uniform.
We are not sick, rather we are free, from those who enslave us and try to deceive.
"Take this for your health." They plea! Why can't they let us be?
So we wait for those in coats of white,
To feed us the medicine to make us right,
And as it takes hold of our system we walk towards the light and our souls become trapped tonight.
