Chillwinter Spirits

by Thomas   Jan 1, 2014

Silent winter spirits, oh,
How ye' make way 'round!
I dare wake y'all up,
For a cheerful round!
Few'd dare break the ice
of mine wishful design,
So I'll just drop the dice
and break out in rime!

Cheerful winter spirits, oh,
How y'all made way down!
Yer arrival came with him,
The bearded saint, in a red gown.
Gifts, cheers and good wishes
had come in perfect sound,
And wonderful dishes
had been made found.

Frightful winter spirits, oh,
How broken ye've become!
Ye' called upon the ice giants,
Oh, we had been undone!
Ye' brought upon us the cold,
With snow, chill, death and crows!
We've already crossed into the fold,
Of the icy, chillwinter's drows.
