Emotions

My fiance's parent's best friend of over 30 yrs passed away last Saturday night. He was like an uncle to my fiance and he is taking it pretty hard. I mean he hasn't cried (he's just not that type), but he told me he was sad/upset about it and he's been really quiet since. He was going to go to the wake today, but got called into work early so he couldn't make it and still get to work on time. I want to help him through this, but I just don't know what else I can do. I mean I am trying to be there for him as much as I can, but I just want to do something special for him.

Losing someone your close to is hard. i know from experience. i say the best thing you can do is just be there for him. let him know that you are there for him and he's not going to be alone in his suffering.

That's exactly what I have been doing. :)
