    This is "The River":

    Part I - The Falling

Thousands of silver diamonds smiling at me
Your soothing water upon my feet.
How I loved to drink of you,
    to kiss your transient face.

I picture myself at your edge,
with you up to my thighs.
Just one more step was all I needed,
to let you surround me entirely.

At first, I dared not swim in you,
as your swiftness surpassed my skill.
But in time you became more temperate,
and you adjusted your speed to me.

It has yet to escape my memory
how your sultry streams tempted me.
Your sensual touch to my ankles,
silently asking me to wade deeper.

Even though you still were cloudy,
    I trusted to your depths,
    and dove deep within you.
From shore to shore I swam,
but had yet to venture downstreams.

My dreams were, and still are, of nothing else
    than your white bottom.
Never shall I love land again,
For I found bliss in water.

Be air the clearest under this sky,
and less unpredictable than cloudy water in haste,
I have yet to miss my life on land
    among the scattered trees.

Harsh winds do blow up there,
and the flowers struggle to settle down.
The soft, warm breeze of a summer day,
will be followed by the chilling winds of night.

    Part II - The Boat

My memory of those days is vague.
    Did I drown in you,
    or did you drown me?
I believe they combined make the truth.
For I woke as one of water,
and you were clear as air.

But even those of water grow tired,
and may dream of boats and suchlike,
to let them sail which river they want,
    or lose themselves upon one.

In time, a boat came within my reach,
and I entered it in serenity.
Ready, at last, to let you take me
    down your graciously, curved course.

    Part III - Remembrance

    I recall one starlit night.
Like a thief before the kill,
the wind blew, oh, so light.
    and stole my sense away.
I threw one oar in the water
and thrusted it down with the other
and broke the second in two.

And I smiled in my heart at the break of dawn,
for I was finally lost on water.
My boat and I were your's to steer.

    In the confluences of rivers,
in which you at times took part,
you proved always to be the greater,
and never did others weaken you.

When the change of seasons shook me,
    and flowers withered to dust,
    never did I tremble,
for I was safe upon you.

    Part IV - Still love

I do not know how long it has been
    since first you touched me,
but still I thirst for you,
and seldom do my eyes stray to the shore.

I still let my hands sink into you,
and your taste is as sweet as ever.
    Your fragrance still enthralls me,
    when rain's enticement tempts.

    Rivers often split,
and leave the sailor torn in two.
No confluent river from you, though.
    You only gain,
    and thus retain
    my love for you.

    Such peace upon thy water.
    Such beauty along thy shores.
Take me where you want, river,
    for I am truly your's.

this is yeah.. one of my favs that I've wrote

    The Sheep And The Goat

    On two simple farms,
    miles and miles apart,
there was a sheep and a goat,
with the same dream in their hearts.

They dreamed of a love so different,
that it would be remembered for years,
    talked about forever,
    between everyone including their peers.

One day the goat got sold,
to a farm across the way,
there it met a beautiful sheep,
with fur as warm as the sun's rays.

One day he couldn't take it,
and decided to express how he felt,
    to his amazement,
she said something that made his heart melt.

She told him she loved him too,
but she had always been to scared,
to come right out and tell him,
exactly just how much she cared.

This was the love they've dreamed of,
    forever all their lives,
they didn't care what it looked like,
cause it felt right under the skies.

Their peers told them to get over it,
no way it could be real,
and if it is they're in trouble,
so hide how they really feel.

    They just ignored their warning,
    and talked under the moon,
they thought they would be together forever,
who knew forever would come so soon.

They were talking together in their pen,
    the day the heat arrived,
the day the farmer took the sheep,
and said, "It's amazing your fur survived."

He carried her gently out of the pen,
and placed her in the back of the truck,
    the goat started going crazy,
    thats when the heartake struck.

They gave the sheep a shave,
    the goat became withdrawn,
and when he finally saw the sheep,
his love for her was gone.

    The sheep ran toward him,
he suppressed the urge to puke,
she saw the look of disgust in his eyes,
so strong it gave her a spook.

    She wondered what had changed,
and walked away with a broken heart,
trying to put him behind her,
like she should have done from the start.

She thought about him for months,
always wishing he would come back,
but after time she got over him,
and moved on with the pack.

Her fur grew back the next summer,
and she had forgotten about the goat,
until the day he came back to her,
and complimented her on the coat.

He told her he would always love her,
and he had watched her from afar,
she looked him right in the eyes,
and said, "I know who you are."

The goat took a jump back,
    is she telling a lie?
she said, "I am the sheep that you loved once,
the one who's love you denied."

    The goat suddenly remembered,
and said it was just a joke,
    that he really loved her,
but his mind was blurred with smoke.

    She didn't let him finish,
she just turned and trotted away,
running back to her new friends,
    on that warm summer day.

    Dark Water

    I sit on my bed
    And lay to rest
    And to sleep
    I try my best
    But I fear the dreams
    That enter my mind
    I must endure this
    Like all of my kind
    So I will not sleep
    But instead research
    The hawk in my mind
    On my soul, perched
    It allows me to live
    And won't let me die
    For this hawk
    Is my lie
    It is October
    And thus I sleep
    And hopefully my soul
    Is mine to keep
    The hawk protects me
    Keeps me safe
    So I don't have to
    Show my face
    The feather black
    The beak white
    The water dark
    The flower light
    So I let it lay
    Inside my soul
    So I can sleep
    On My green knoll
    And
    As the hawk
    Sat in my mind
    Its beak white chalk
    Dark water dripping
    Into a black rose
    Ideas filling me
    From head to toes
    When the rose overflowed
    And the water spilled
    The ideas were murdered
    Killed
    But as the hawk
    Flew away
    My mind was slow
    Somehow delayed
    But when it came back
    The water was gone
    I must retrieve it
    Before too long
    Is it killing me
    Why doesn't it finish
    And my mind
    Finally diminish

    Deep inside

Something I hold deep inside me something I'll never tell.
My life is a living hell.
I've battled so much darkness inside me.
I must flee to a greater place where my demons can't control me.
    This is something I see.
    Please god let me be.
I must let go this I some thing I know.
Tonight is the night I put on my black dress and release all the stress.
I hold these pills in my hand this is some thing I can't with stand.
I look at the note I left on the table.
I think of how my life was never stable.
I die knowing my body will be so still.
I feel so ill as I swallow this last pill.

    My Inner Angel

    In the Devil's twisted hand
    I lie, waiting for tomorrow,
When perhaps someone may care for,
    This shaken angel deep inside,

This angel is a forgotten youth.

She lives her life full of regret,
The hatred swims inside her head,
She wishes she could just break free,
Unleash the fury from her heart,
    And fly away forever,
    Like a newborn butterfly.

This angel is the one you cast away.

Thrown from the comfort of her circle,
With those murderers laughing through her hurt,
Noone to guide her past this pain,
Which shrouds her future, haunts her past.

This angel is my inner self.
This angel is my soul destroyed.

Hey my name ie donna and heres my poem

    He was in the distance
she could see him a far
    what was he doing
    getting in that car

I told him not to talk to strangers
    no matter who they were
    this makes no sense
    espeacilly not to her
She alled the police to give them a report
They told her not to worry
    they'll find him after court

The courtroom was full taht day
    a popular trial going on
    Everyone was there
but now her child was gone

    Nobody cared
    what was going on
all because there was a popular trial going on

    Her son was never found
and now shes starting to gray
    all because a popular trial
    that was happening that day

This poem is called a popular trial...and I just think its fun....well not really fun,but..Ilike it

This is another one I've written:

    Losing an Angel

As my tears hit the sand
    I close her blessed eyes.
    I have lost an angel.
    Everything dies.

Her final breath she draws now
with my hand upon her chest
and in a place beyond my reach
I pray she'll find her rest.

But though, from grace, she has fallen
I kiss her one last time,
And to my great surprise I find
that her cold lips welcomes mine.

For many reasons I've loved her
    but none more than this:
That her last effort upon this earth
was to grant me one last kiss.

If any moment should last forever,
    this would be the one.
It felt as if all divine on earth
    to it's end had come.

    That all the sacred powers,
    gathered in a kiss,
    and made our love eternal
in a last moment of bliss.

And thus she leaves me, broken,
in a fair and wonderful dawn,
but I cannot find joy in such
    now that she is gone.

    Slowly a faint sun rises
but by her still I lay.
Her smile will never again encourage me
    or welcome the following day.

Alone I listen to the waves
    sighing upon this shore.
    A soul like her's won't live again
    in Norway forevermore.

my poem.. both of these poems I have already posted on the site take a look and vote/comment if you want

    The Snowflake

    It starts off,
    In the sky,
    Gently forming,
    For its nighttime fly.

    The angels help it,
    And guide it along,
    Treat it with love,
    As they sing their song.

    They tell it of others,
    That it will meet,
    As soon as its body,
    Touches the street.

    It’s scared to continue,
    But scared to give up,
    So it fights a head,
    And takes the drop.

    It falls from the sky,
    With style and grace,
    And suddenly lands,
    On a young boy’s face.

    It melts away suddenly,
    To quick for goodbyes,
    Its icy soul,
    Between the boy’s eyes.

    The young boy looks up,
At the sky with a smile,
    That the snowflake knows,
    Will last for a while.

    Back up in the sky,
    The snowflake returns,
    And asks why suddenly,
    It’s journey adjourned.

    The angles smile,
    And point down below,
At the little boy he touched,
    Sitting in the snow.

    He sat all alone,
    On this cold winter night,
    No one around,
    To wish him goodnight.

    His smile still shining,
    Bright in the night,
    That boy, they said,
    Would have died tonight.

    We sent you down,
    To help him see,
    That some things are better,
Than we think they can be.

    Thank you again,
    They say with a grin,
    Ending your life,
When it was about to begin.

    Our thanks to you,
    We want so show.
    So jump again,
    And head down below.

    Float from this cloud,
    To your friends below,
    Best wishes my dear,
And tell them what you know.

    About how a little action,
Can do a great deal of good,
And how we should be thankful,
    And do everything we should.

    The snowflake nods,
    And jumps once more,
    This time knowing,
    Exactly what it’s jumping for.

This is "How wrong I was"

    She looks at me,
    but her smile withdrawns;
the one I have awoken to
    for thousands of dawns.

    Her eyes are flaming;
    There is something therein,
    a battle is raging there,
    one I cannot win.

    The flame in her eyes
    and the ravaging war,
    fills her with emotions
    like never before.

    A timid sensation,
    runs through my veins,
    my heart is wilting;
    the one she retains.

    Words escape me,
    as faint become clear;
    Am I now losing
    the one with no peer?

    The battle in her eyes
    suddenly ceases.
    The prisoners of war,
    are the tears she releases.

    Thus, my love for her
and the awareness of her ways,
Unveils that she will leave me
    after eternal stainless days.

    I admire her strength
    and her unswerving heart,
    yet that only emphasize
    she`ll soon depart

As to speak, she draws breath,
    here comes the end!
Such wounds she will cause me,
    is not meant to mend.

    As her mouth slowly opens
    I close my tearful eyes.
    and in pain and despair
    my trembling heart cries.

    ............I...Love...You...............
    ..More..Than..You`ll..Ever...Know

    ....was her words...

I still can't believe its true.
    Not in my wildest dreams,
    would those be her words...
Yet I was wrong, it seems...

    Faltering Grace

    Like poisoned water,
    Used to kill,
    To dice with death,
    And love the thrill,
    To choke someone,
    Against their will,
    Embrace the rush,
    Watch time stand still.

    Or using anger,
    As your excuse,
    Tying the rope,
    To form a noose,
    Load the gun,
    Then let loose,
    Inside the head,
    Of the recluse.

    Times have changed,
    You've left the race,
    Lost your way,
    Dropped the pace,
    Tension smeared,
    Across your face,
    Precious memories,
    You cannot trace,
    Life is something,
    You can't replace,
    Lock the door,
    "Just in case,"
    A toppled soldier's
    Fall from grace.

    cheers

    Alone
    by Sami

Laying alone in the soft pail moonlight.
Being attacked by lies unable to fight.
    Uncontrollable crying loss and pain.
Unable to move just scream words in vain.
She sits alone confused by her sorrow.
As she waits for what will come tomorrow.
Wondering how this tragety came tell.
A bright new day came but sadness still fell.
No one can save her she's all on her own.
trapped in a spiders web that cant be UN-sown

    Drown

Falling broken, falling down, falling deep
Losing you, losing life, losing what I keep

Water up to my neck, drowning so deep
Flowing through the cracks in the nightmare sleep
    Chains hanging smothered in frost
Fingering my neck until the game is lost
For as a puppet controlled in the master's eyes'
    Following movements in bleak disguise
Shrieking its terror echoes the mountains high
As I drown in this river dying alive
    Eyes wet in misery's hold
Lost from love and burning cold
Lying here as I drown in time so long
Counting the words in the lyrics of a song

Singing a lullaby as my lungs fill with water
Like jars they swallow in murdering slaughter
Faded pictures in my memory rips
Flowing down the river silenced on my lips
Watching the clouds fall to the skies
Screeching for you and love that dies
I watch my eyes fall beneath the surface, down
    Watching me drown, drown, drown.

    Shiver running through seeping skin
Up my spine and lying within
I loved you and watched as you left
I cried at your feet in dying regret
    Going away in eternity's grasp
Holding you dear, you let go the clasp
Falling broken, falling down, falling deep
Losing you, losing life, losing what I keep
Burning ice travels my veins tracing stories long
Counting the words in the lyrics of a song

Singing a lullaby as my lungs fill with water
Like jars they swallow in murdering slaughter
Faded pictures in my memory rips
Flowing down the river silenced on my lips
Watching the clouds fall to the skies
Screeching for you and love that dies
I watch my eyes fall beneath the surface, down
Watching me as I drown, drown, drown.

Falling broken, falling down, falling deep
Losing you, losing life, losing what I keep

Wishing I could have you here
    Without you, I have disappeared…

ok here is my favorite one i wrote:

    Black heart
I toss and turn cant sleep at night
Knowing what you did isn’t right
You’re my friend but she’s your girl
You played her like a game
That you won but isn’t the same
You said she is you one and only
But I could tell she felt so lonely
    She waited up all night
Knowing when you got back there’d be a fight
But another girl was with you
She didn’t know what to do
You were surprised to see her awake
You said this was more than you could take
You wanted her the girl of your dreams
    To be your wife
So you pushed the other girl out of your life
You regret everything you did to her
    She left you that day
Left you with nothing to say
Knowing now that it was wrong
Its to late cause she’s gone
    Gone away from you
And there is nothing you can do
You have a black heart lonely and cold
    Every girl you find
You tell her she is one of a kind
But they are all the same
    They believe in you
But I don’t see why they do
    Cause it aint true
    You break their heart
You give it back all torn apart
You can get any girl to trust you
    But you don’t care
Trust is just a quality that you lack
That’s why your heart is so black

2 months later you want your girl back
    you call her everyday
but you never know what to say
one day you go to her work
you have to take it like a man
you walk in with a rose in your hand
you pray she’ll take you back
now you look at her face to face
    tears slide down your eyes
just thinking about all the lies
she waits for you to speak
just then your eyes start to leak
you cant help it you love her so much
    you calm down some
    and so you say
“I love you so much for you to go
    Im sorry I lied
    Im sorry you tried
To make this work for us
I know we always had to fuss
    Im sorry….Goodbye
You walk to the door and go home

You sit in the dark holding a gun
Thinking of all the memories and good times
    You spent with her
    BOOM you hit the ground
    Waiting to be found
She’s sitting at home thinking of you
Watching the news like she usually do
    She thinks as she listens
    “Young teen takes his life
    Shoots himself in the head”
She looks up and finds out your dead
    She starts to cry
She never got to say goodbye

At the funeral she walks around
She cant stand to see them put you in the ground
Everyday she walks to your grave
She feels the imprint of your name
She wants to feel you but it isn’t the same
    She cries day and night
    She never feels alright
    She gets so lonely everyday
Every night she gets down to pray
She’ll be with you one day

we know youre smiling at us
    from your mansion above

with a smile on your face
and a twinkle in your eye
we all know youre now in a better place

    You inspired all of us

    "Miracles (children)"

    Children are just like miracles
they amaze us every single day
with the things they do and say

    How they can show us
the beauty in a simple flower
take us places we've never been

    Bring back the memories
of when we were a child
    Their youth and spirit
    is truly something to admire

    Like sunrise...bright and fresh
Like the morning dew...bright as new
Like a flowers bloom...young and naive
    Like rain...a blessing on earth
    Like water...so pure and plain
    Like honey...sweet and innocent
    Like stars...they shine
    Like magic...charming
    Like wind...alive and carefree
    Like cotton white...untainted
    Like glass...their fragile
    Like dreams... they run wild
    Like seasons...they change
    Like a tree...they grow
    Like clouds...slowly drifting
    Like birds...fly away
Children are a gift to us all
Like gold...indeed a treasure to behold
