Do the funnies go unappreciated??

I guess the biggest thing is that funny poems seem to get more votes... and I for one, think funny poems are really hard to write well. I have written 2 and they are two of my lowest rated. But really... it seems that sense of humor varies from person to person more than any of the other categories...

For example... you could have a sad or love poem that was rated by 10 people with a high average... if those same 10 people read a funny poem, it is more likely that their opinons of it would be more varied

Did that make any sense??

Also, Like I said in my comment on "Plastic Surgery", it was a funny enough poem, but you said it was a limerick and it is not. That will bring your rating down, too.
