Wow. Thats beautiful, what imagery, what emotion! Reminds me how out of practice I am :p
Good vocab too. Just one line bothered me dear,
"from winter's rueful winds blew,
darkening the skies beyond my doorstep
with somber tears."
perhaps remove with....it'd make a lil more sense then, atleast to me. But I'm being picky!!!!! Loved it :)

Breathtakingly written, with amount of overwhelming emotions within every stanza. Superb, remarkable piece. You are always able to impress me with your writes and this one is not an exception. Fantastic poem, so original.
I can't chose my favorite part, every stanza holds truly touching, deep feelings and vivid descriptions. Your wording is superb, too.
