Comments : The Fear of Love

Love being a fear makes sense to me. Because sometimes when you fall in love, the other person might use that opportunity to take advantage of the woman so to speak. I did NOT mean to scare you or anything. But this is one reason why my mother taught me to get to know a woman inside and out before I "love her." (that being the person I talk to)

Love is not a game. Love is serious business. I know the days of eternal happiness with a woman is over to most folks in society. Since modern guys have what, 5 different marriages in his life (for example)? But I personally believe love CAN be eternal if you find the right man. It might take years to find him. But when you do find him, it's worth it.

It's good to know you have self-confidence in yourself. I hope your own love dreams come true, Letty. And I mean those words.

    Hugs and kisses

First of all, thank you for reviewing my poem, "Love You Like a Sister". It was very kind of you to take the time to read it thoroughly and suggest how I can improve my poem. I will look into expanding the poem as a story of some sort.

Next, I would like to say that you were able to connect the feelings of the narrator of this poem to the reader's feelings. Many may feel the same emotion when choosing to love again, but others may not have experienced it before; that is where imagery and transition come in. You have done an excellent job.
