Everyone says that Step-dads are never nice or that they don't like them, in my life its totally different. My step-dad is amazing and he makes me proud to be a military brat. He is like a father to me. I remember playing softball with him, he would always help me practice pitching before and after games. He has been here for me since 2001 and I was 11 then and now I'm about to be 18. He treats me with so much respect. I could never ask for a better step dad. I told my family that I would never call him dad because i already have a dad. He treats my sister and I like his own daughters. I am PROUD to have a step dad who fights for our country.
